Better Homes Realty Team at the Epping Street Fair - Raising Money for The Allowah Childrens Hospital

Better Homes Realty was a Major Sponsor of the Epping Street Fair.

Principal of the real estate office Betty Ockerlander said the team was proud to be involved in the fun day.

The Epping Club organised the Epping Street Fair in partnership with the Epping Rotary Club with the aim being to raise money for local charitable projects.

Betty is a generous supporter of Rotary and Rotarys major fundraising project, the Allowah Childrens Hospital.

In addition to Better Homes Realtys sponsorship, Betty conducted her annual push up competition and her popular - The Epping Quiz.

For every 5 push ups done throughout the day, Better Homes Realty donated $2.00 to the Epping Rotary.

Rotary passed these donations on to the Allowah Childrens Hospital in Dundas.

In total 4035 pushups were done on the day, raising a total of $1614.00 for the kids.

Allowah Childrens Hospital provides early intervention programs and care to children suffering from a range of illnesses including Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome and Fragile X.

Betty said - I would like to thank everyone who has come down and been a part of the fair the work that the Allowah Childrens Hospital does is vital to our community, helping those who need it the most.

Every year we raise thousands of dollars for local charities and this year we gave some really solid support to the staff and children of Allowah.

Remember for next year the more push-ups you do, the more money we donate!

 

Real Estate Agent Jumps From Plane in Only His Budgie Smugglers for Cancer Awareness

You would not be wrong in calling him crazy, but perhaps benevolent and passionate are better words to describe Corrimal man Phil Murray.

Phil jumped from an aeroplane wearing only his budgie-smugglers and a parachute, of course!

This risque skydiving stunt is his latest effort to raise the profile of his major fundraising push, the Great Ocean Pool Crawl.

This large community event is now in its eleventh year.

Mr Murray is a Prominent Local Real Estate Agent.

Mr Murray is also an avidcampaigner for the Cancer Council, raising funds and awareness for the non-discriminatory and insidious disease that impacts so many lives each year.
